April 20, 2009: In a move to unify their four divisions providing services to the aerospace industry, STS Holdings, Inc. today announced the company name will be changed to STS Aviation Group and all service divisions will carry the STS name. According to company President, Philip J. Anson, Jr., “This move does not represent a change in our management team or the way we operate, we believe it will give added visibility to the fact that we are a unified company with a network of services designed to support the aerospace industry.” Anson also indicated the company philosophy is and will continue to be – Solutions To Keep You Flying.

STS Services, the 24 year-old personnel recruitment division, has been renamed STS AeroStaff Services to better reflect the nature of their services. ATR Line Maintenance, acquired by STS Holdings in May 2006, will now be known as STS Line Maintenance. MOS Engineering, which has been a part of STS for the past two years, will be renamed STS Engineering Solutions. STS Component Solutions, the parts and supply chain management group that joined STS Holdings in 2008, will retain its current name.

Anson went on to state, “Our mission is to continue providing alternative, integrated, turnkey solutions to the aerospace industry, not only through our existing network of companies, but through further expansion in those areas where we indentify need. What started as a very small company, has over the past two decades become one of the industry’s leading providers of aerospace services and we envision this as another step in our ongoing growth.”

Based in Jensen Beach, Florida, the STS Aviation Group is a diversified company that specializes in support services for the aerospace industry. Founded in 1985, the company began with a staffing service for skilled aircraft mechanics. Although staffing continues to be an important element in their service structure, they now provide a full range of engineering services through their virtual network as well as on-site placement, aircraft component and supply chain management, and line maintenance services for on the ground aircrafts. Since inception, the company has more than quadrupled its size and has expectations of continuing growth to meet the ever-increasing needs of the aerospace industry.
