E-7 Wedgetail AEW Mk1 Program
STS Defense Solutions was selected to perform conversion work on the U.K.’s fleet of five E-7 Wedgetail AEW Mk1 aircraft at our defense-dedicated facility in Birmingham. The program converts 737NG airframes into advanced airborne battle management platforms through structural modification, systems integration, and mission-specific upgrades.
Program execution added more than 100 skilled roles to our Birmingham workforce and is conducted in coordination with Boeing and program stakeholders across multiple U.K. locations, directly supporting delivery of next-generation AEW capability to the Royal Air Force.
