  • 1984

    STS is founded in Reno, Nevada.

  • 1989

    STS moves from Reno to Nashville, Tennessee.

  • 1993

    STS gets acquired by CDI, one of the largest staffing companies in the world at that time.

  • 1997

    STS’ current owners buy back the brand, and its operations, from CDI.

  • 1998

    STS Moves from Nashville to Stuart, Florida.

  • 2001

    The September 11th terrorist attacks stifle the aviation industry.

  • 2003

    STS begins to staff Aerospace Engineers in addition to Aircraft Mechanics.

  • 2007

    STS begins line maintenance operations under a newly acquired 145 certification.

  • 2008

    STS acquires an aircraft components company, forms STS Component Solutions and begins selling and distributing aircraft parts to customers around the world.

  • 2009

    STS celebrates its 25th anniversary and is fully rebranded to form what is now known as STS Aviation Group.

  • 2010

    STS Aviation Group acquires a major technical / government staffing company and forms STS Technical Services.

  • 2011

    STS Component Solutions purchases its first aircraft engine for teardown and resale.

  • 2012

    STS Aviation Group gets named “The Best Company to Work For” by Florida Trend Magazine.

  • 2013

    STS Aviation Group lands the #6 spot on Inc. Magazine’s list of logistics and transportation job creators.

    STS Aviation Group’s CEO wins regional, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.

  • 2014

    STS Component Solutions purchases Air-Pro Hose from Air France, a Titeflex Manufacturer / Distributor of hose assemblies and kits.

    STS Component Solutions opens a secondary office in Sunrise, Florida, to support its newly-formed turbine engine (ground power) business.

    Monster Inc. names STS AeroStaff Services one of the best recruiting firms in the the United States.

  • 2015

    STS Aviation Group opens a new sister office in Denver, Colorado.

    Florida Governor Rick Scott awards STS Aviation Group the Business Ambassador Award.

  • 2016

    STS Air-Pro opens a brand new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Miramar, Florida.

    STS Aviation Group acquires HAECO Line Care while upping its active station count from 12 to 25.

    STS Line Maintenance opens its first international station in Nassau.

  • 2017

    STS Aviation Group purchases a state-of-the-art aircraft hangar facility in Melbourne, Florida. Launches STS Mod Center.

    STS Aviation Group forms STS AeroMod, a division dedicated to the deployment of mobile, rapid response teams that specialize in taking aircraft modification projects from concept to completion.
