Aircraft WiFi Installations STS Aviation Group

Aircraft WiFi has become part of the commercial passenger experience.

Airlines are investing in faster, more reliable in-flight connectivity across their fleets. But choosing the platform is only the first step.

The real work begins when the aircraft enters the hangar.

That is where STS Aviation Services brings proven experience, global capacity and the technical expertise required to execute aircraft WiFi installations at scale.

More Than 5,000 Aircraft WiFi Installations Completed

STS Aviation Services has completed more than 5,000 aircraft WiFi installations across major commercial aircraft types.

That experience includes dozens of Starlink installations completed for commercial airline customers. Specific program and customer details remain confidential, but the work is active, proven and being performed today.

STS teams understand the structural, electrical, avionics and certification requirements involved because they have completed this work across thousands of aircraft.

The platform may change.

The need for disciplined execution does not.

Airlines Choose the Platform. STS Executes the Installation.

STS does not choose the aircraft connectivity platform for its customers.

The airline makes that decision based on its fleet, routes, passenger strategy and operational requirements.

Once the system is selected, STS provides the engineering, certification support, manpower and aircraft modification expertise required to install it properly.

STS owns the applicable Supplemental Type Certificate supporting this work. The company does not position itself as an authorized Starlink partner.

Our role is clear.

The customer selects the technology. STS executes the modification.

Complete Aircraft WiFi Installation Support

Aircraft WiFi installation is not a simple equipment swap. It is a certified aircraft modification requiring multiple technical disciplines to work together.

STS can manage the complete installation program, including:

  • Modification planning and engineering support
  • Antenna and structural installation
  • Electrical wiring and system integration
  • Cabin wireless access point installation
  • Avionics and connectivity integration
  • Operational and functional testing
  • Certification and technical documentation
  • Inspection and return-to-service support

This gives airline customers one experienced team capable of managing the work from planning through completion.

Aircraft WiFi Installations at STS Hangars

STS can complete aircraft WiFi installations at its global MRO facilities in:

  • Melbourne, Florida
  • Birmingham, United Kingdom
  • Manchester, United Kingdom
  • Newquay, United Kingdom
  • Dubai, United Arab Emirates

These facilities already support commercial aircraft maintenance, avionics upgrades, structural modifications and major modification programs.

That existing infrastructure gives STS the ability to coordinate aircraft WiFi installations with other planned work when the schedule, aircraft condition and program requirements allow.

Working Party Teams at Customer Facilities

Not every aircraft WiFi program belongs inside an STS hangar.

When fleet schedules or operational requirements call for on-site support, STS can deploy experienced working party teams directly to the customer’s facility.

These mobile teams bring the same installation discipline, technical support and program oversight used across STS MRO operations.

This gives airlines greater flexibility when planning fleetwide connectivity programs across multiple aircraft, locations and maintenance schedules.

The location may change.

The standard of work does not.

Proven Experience for the Next Generation of Aircraft Connectivity

Passenger expectations are changing. High-speed in-flight connectivity is becoming a larger part of how airlines compete, serve customers and plan future fleet upgrades.

But the technology only matters after it has been installed, tested, documented and returned to service.

That is where experience matters.

STS Aviation Services brings thousands of completed aircraft WiFi installations, active Starlink program experience, global hangar capacity and mobile working party support.

For airlines preparing to upgrade aircraft connectivity across a single aircraft or an entire fleet, STS has the people, facilities and technical capability needed to execute the work.
