STS Aviation Services, at its recently acquired Birmingham MRO facility and in conjunction with CATTs, an approved EASA Part 147 organization, is running the first program of training courses for its highly-skilled Engineers. The first course is centered on Rolls Royce engines such as Trent 1000 plus, Trent 800 and a Trent 900 differences course.

Malcolm Welsby, Maintenance Operations Director, said “This is the first of a number of courses we will be running during the year and the training will be in alignment with our strategy for providing a unique service offering with ultimate flexibility”

Mick Adams, CEO, said “Our engineers, mechanics and technicians alike, will receive the very best form of training and this will range from latest technology aircraft and systems – through to people management. In doing so, STS Aviation Services is not only serving the needs of its highly-valued European customers but also building talent and succession within the business for the long term.”
