STS Engine Services Supports the Armed Forces Covenant

Proud to Support the Armed Forces Community

STS Engine Services is proud to be a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant, demonstrating our commitment to supporting those who serve, have served, and their families.

We are also proud to have achieved Bronze Award status in the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS), recognising our ongoing commitment to the Armed Forces community and the steps we are taking to support veterans, reservists, service leavers and military families within our organisation.

Signing the Covenant represents our promise to recognise the contribution of the Armed Forces community and ensure that those connected to the military are treated with fairness, respect and understanding.

What is the Armed Forces Covenant?

The Armed Forces Covenant is a commitment to ensure that members of the Armed Forces community are not disadvantaged because of their service and that appropriate consideration is given to the sacrifices they make.

By signing the Covenant, organisations across the UK can demonstrate their support for serving personnel, reservists, veterans, service leavers and military families.

For STS Engine Services, this is more than a pledge on paper. It reflects the kind of workplace we want to continue building.

Recognising Skills Beyond Service

The Armed Forces develop highly skilled people with experience that can transfer exceptionally well into the aviation and engineering industries.

Technical knowledge, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, discipline and the ability to perform in demanding environments are just some of the qualities that can make veterans and service leavers valuable members of an aviation workforce.

We are proud to already have colleagues within STS Engine Services who have previously served in the Armed Forces, bringing their experience and skills into the next stage of their careers.

By signing the Armed Forces Covenant, we want to continue recognising that experience and help create opportunities for members of the Armed Forces community to build rewarding civilian careers.

Our Commitment

As an Armed Forces Covenant signatory, we are committed to building an inclusive workplace that recognises the unique circumstances, experiences and skills of the Armed Forces community.

We will continue to look at how we can support veterans, reservists, service leavers and military families through our recruitment, employment practices and wider workplace culture.

Signing the Covenant is an important step in that commitment, but our focus is on making sure the principles behind it are reflected in what we do.

Your Next Chapter Could Start Here

Leaving the Armed Forces doesn’t mean leaving your skills and experience behind.

Whether your background is in engineering, maintenance, logistics, operations, leadership or another area of service, those skills could have a future within the aviation industry.

As STS Engine Services continues to grow, we’re always looking for talented people who can bring new experience and perspectives to our team.
