STS Aviation Group Selected as Prime Contractor Awardee for U.S. Air Force KC-46 CASPER Program

JENSEN BEACH, Florida, August 12, 2026 — STS Aviation Group, a global provider of aircraft maintenance, engineering, material support and workforce management solutions, today announced that its material services division has been selected as a prime contractor awardee for the U.S. Air Force’s KC-46 Commercial Common Repairable Support program, commonly known as CASPER.
CASPER is a multi-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle supporting repair and exchange requirements for KC-46 tanker aircraft components. Through the program, STS Aviation Group will be eligible to compete for individual task orders over a five-year ordering period. The overall CASPER contract ceiling is valued at more than $470 million.
“This award is an important step for STS Aviation Group and the continued growth of our defense sustainment capabilities,” said PJ Anson, Chief Executive Officer of STS Aviation Group. “The KC-46 is a critical platform, and CASPER gives us the opportunity to support aircraft readiness with the speed, discipline and accountability STS has built across commercial aviation.”
The CASPER program is designed to help keep KC-46 aircraft mission-ready through responsive aftermarket support, including repair management, exchange support, documentation, quality compliance and coordination with qualified repair partners.
For STS Aviation Group, the award builds on years of commercial aviation aftermarket experience while expanding the company’s role in direct defense sustainment work. It also reflects the growing value of commercial aviation practices in military support environments where speed, supplier coordination and cost discipline are essential.
“Our material services division was built to support complex aviation operators with speed, quality and control,” said Tim Russo, President of STS Aviation Group’s material services division. “CASPER aligns directly with the work our team does every day. We understand the importance of KC-46 readiness, and we’re prepared to support the Air Force with disciplined program execution and responsive material support.”
STS Aviation Group’s material services division supports commercial, cargo, military and OEM customers through component support, OEM distribution, hose manufacturing, engine assets, repair management and supply chain programs. Its inclusion in the KC-46 CASPER program strengthens STS Aviation Group’s position as a trusted aviation support partner across commercial and military markets.
