JENSEN BEACH, Florida, August 12, 2026 — STS Aviation Group, a global provider of aircraft maintenance, engineering, material support and workforce management solutions, today announced that its material services division has been selected as a prime contractor awardee for the U.S. Air Force’s KC-46 Commercial Common Repairable Support program, commonly known as CASPER.

CASPER is a multi-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle supporting repair and exchange requirements for KC-46 tanker aircraft components. Through the program, STS Aviation Group will be eligible to compete for individual task orders over a five-year ordering period. The CASPER program is designed to help keep KC-46 aircraft mission-ready through responsive aftermarket support, including repair management, exchange support, documentation, quality compliance and coordination with qualified repair partners.

For STS Aviation Group, the award builds on years of commercial aviation aftermarket experience while expanding the company’s role in direct defense sustainment work. It also reflects the growing value of commercial aviation practices in military support environments where speed, supplier coordination and cost discipline are essential.

“Our material services division was built to support complex aviation operators with speed, quality and control,” said Tim Russo, President of STS Aviation Group’s material services division. “CASPER aligns directly with the work our team does every day. P.J. Anson Named to Florida 500 for Eighth Consecutive Year

Philip Anson Jr., CEO of STS Aviation Group, Named to Florida Trend’s “Florida 500” for Sixth Consecutive Year

There’s a difference between success and significance. Success fades when the spotlight moves on. Significance sticks because it’s built on people, values, and the kind of leadership that lasts.

This month, Florida Trend once again named Philip (P.J.) Anson Jr., CEO of STS Aviation Group, to its Florida 500 list of the state’s most influential business leaders. It’s the eighth year in a row he’s earned that recognition, and while the headline might be about him, the story runs much deeper.

P.J. has never been the kind of leader who chases awards. He chases outcomes. He believes in doing things the right way, surrounding himself with people who care as much as he does, and never asking someone to do a job he wouldn’t do himself. That mindset has shaped the culture of STS Aviation Group since the beginning.

From its roots in Florida to operations that now span the globe, STS has grown because of that steady hand and shared belief in something simple… take care of your people, and they’ll take care of everything else.

So yes, this recognition is for P.J., but it’s also for every technician, engineer, recruiter, and team member who shows up each day determined to move aviation forward. Because what P.J. built isn’t just a company. It’s a community built on trust, resilience, and heart.

Eight years on a list is impressive. But building something that lasts? That’s legacy.
