Two-Day NDT Certification Classes Kicking off in Melbourne, Florida

Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT I)

Summary: PT is a widely applied and low-cost inspection method used to locate surface-breaking defects in all non-porous materials (metals, plastics, or ceramics).

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT I)

Dates: April 4 – 5, 2018

Location: 100 Aerospace Drive, Unit 6 – Melbourne, FL 32901

Cost: $400

Summary: MT is a non-destructive testing (NDT) process for detecting surface and shallow subsurface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel, cobalt, and some of their alloys.

STS Aviation Group Set to Host Annual Technical OEM Symposium

STS Aviation Group is extremely excited to once again host airline guests and OEM partners in sunny Jensen Beach, Florida, for its annual Technical OEM Symposium.

On February 7 – 9th, attendees from more than 10 different airlines and OEM partners will gather at the brand new Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa in Jensen Beach for three days full of networking events, informative presentations highlighting the STS Component Solutions and STS Air-Pro OEM portfolio, break away meetings, team building activities and so much more!

Airline guests set to attend this year are from ArubaAzur, COPA, Delta, EnvoyEtihad, GOLJetBlueKLM, Southwest, and Sun Express.

Starting on Wednesday February 7th, you can expect mini-meeting sessions followed by a welcome dinner and networking. Thursday morning, from 8:00 am until 5:00pm, OEMs will present their products and services while also creating a platform for open discussions and idea sharing to help benefit both the sales team and airlines that may have important input to help solve pains plaguing the industry.

This event is unique in that it allows interaction between integral parts of the industry all in one place to share ideas and work towards solutions to better serve customers. STS Component Solutions Acquires Aircraft Interiors Specialists, UJet Group

A global aircraft inventory supplier purchases the business assets of an aircraft interior modification specialist to form a new business unit under the STS Aviation Group umbrella

Palm City, January 25, 2018STS Component Solutions grows its aviation aftermarket portfolio by strategically acquiring UJet Group, an aircraft interior modification and refurbishment company based out of Shannon, Ireland. Through this acquisition, STS Component Solutions will now offer its growing customer base robust aircraft interior refurbishment and parts services under the newly formed brand, STS UJet.

STS UJet will continue to operate out of Shannon, Ireland and is expected to remain the region’s premier FAA/EASA 145 approved aircraft interior repair shop. STS UJet’s current offerings include complete aircraft interior refurbishment and modification, cabin reconfiguration, seats and support services.
